GERRY WEBER INTERNATIONAL AG welcomes your visit to its careers page and your interest in the company. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and want you to feel assured when you visit our website. Your privacy in the processing of personal data is very important to us and we take this into consideration in our business processes. Any data which is collected during your visit to our website is processed in accordance with the data protection regulations of the EU and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our websites it is standard that our web servers save the IP address which is allocated to you by your internet service provider, the website from which you visited us, the websites which you viewed as well as the date and duration of your visit. Personal data which we only require for the processing of your application is only saved if this is provided by you as part of your application. Your personal information and data is collected, saved and used only for the intended purpose with the utmost care and integrity. Hereby we adhere to all legal provisions and it is only the data which is required for your application at GERRY WEBER INTERNATIONAL AG which is collected.

You hereby agree to the processing and forwarding of your data solely for the application process and guarantee that your details correspond to the truth. You are also aware that any incorrect or untrue details could lead to the termination of a possible employment relationship.

Your online application

After your data has been entered and forwarded it is sent directly via an encrypted connection to our external service provider’s server. All data is encrypted on the basis of the TLS method. If you log-in by means of user data which has been provided after your registration, the TLS encryption method will apply, also here.

Data security

During the course of the application processing your data is hosted with a provider in accordance with article 28 DSGVO (German General Data Protection Regulation). GERRY WEBER INTERNATIONAL AG as well as the provider employ technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against any coincidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously optimised to ensure they are up to date with regard to the latest technological development.

You are entitled to access, correct and delete or restrict the processing of your personal data which we have stored. The data may be deleted if there are no retention obligations. If retention obligations exist, the processing of the data may be restricted.

Right of objection, data transfer and withdrawal of consent

You are entitled to object to the processing of the data and are entitled to data transfer. In so far as processing is based on permission as in granting permission to being contacted by e-mail, this permission can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Necessity of providing data

The selection process requires that personal data is provided. If this data is not provided, it is not possible to take the employee into consideration in this process.

Automated decision-making including profiling does not take place.
